This blog is intended to serve as a guide for new reporters edging out into the field of journalism. I will be speaking to local reporters and editors from the Phoenix-area to gain their perspective on journalism issues and to share any advice they can offer to new reporters.
My name is Shari Rose and I am a journalism student at Arizona State University. I’m also majoring in political science and attend the Honors College. Because I’m clearly not busy enough, I work for the school newspaper, The State Press as a news reporter.
